Dr. Helder Nakaya was a professor at the University of São Paulo and deputy director of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences until 2021, when he became a senior researcher at the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in São Paulo. He is also an adjunct professor of the Department of Pathology at Emory University School of Medicine in US. Dr. Nakaya is an affiliate member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and principal investigator at the Center for Research in Inflammatory Diseases and at the Scientific Platform Pasteur-USP.
