Please note, we are resending the Save the Date, as we were notified that some members of our community did not receive it yesterday.  If you already received the Save the Date, kindly ignore.

We are pleased to announce that the next Human Cell Atlas General Meeting will be held on 27 - 29 June 2022 in Vienna, Austria. We hope this will be a hybrid meeting with in-person and virtual attendance; however, details will depend on the pandemic situation at the time.

The 2022 HCA General Meeting will convene our community to share updates and insights on new HCA research and initiatives. The meeting theme is “Building draft atlases, integrating across communities, and maximizing impact.
The General Meeting will bring together computational and wet-lab biologists as well as data managers and many other groups from around the world, who will connect, plan and map a path towards the first draft of the atlas. We particularly want to welcome new researchers: Building and connecting the atlases, rendering them broadly useful and accessible, and making progress on the HCA’s goals of positively impacting medicine will take a joint effort.

We hope to meet in-person but capacity will be limited. To maximise audience participation and accessibility all main sessions and breakout sessions will be live-streamed on a dedicated event platform. Sessions will also be made available for on-demand viewing on the event platform, for those not able to attend in real-time.

Safety is our top priority for this meeting. We will be following European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control guidelines as well as the recommendations of the HCA Organizing Committee. Information on COVID-19 safety will be available on the HCA and the meeting websites in the coming weeks.

Please visit our website or email meetings@humancellatlas.org for more information. We will be in touch with additional details soon.
