Dear STEM Ambassadors,

We are looking for some help for an upcoming school visit. It is happening at Thomas Gainsborough School in Sudbury, Suffolk (CO10 0NH) on Thursday 31st October. It is a  ‘research enrichment’ day for their year 7, 8 and 9 classes where there will be several activities relating to genomics and cell biology, including DNA origami and cell snap. There will also be a focus on what different jobs in science look like.

The activities will be teacher-led, but we are looking for STEM Ambassadors to give a short presentation, including about themselves and their work, and then circulate around the classes to check up on the activities.

We will cover any expenses for the visit.

If you’d like to take part, please let us know by emailing engage@wgc.org.uk

Best wishes,
