Hi Fran,

I can’t help with this one either as I will be on a training course.

Kind Regards,

Maria

Subject: [Stemambassadors] Meet the expert session - 5th February Can you help?

Hi Everyone

We have a group of Year 6 (age 10 - 11) students visiting from Gt Abington Primary School on the 5th February.  We would like to host a “meet the expert” session with the students where they meet different staff from across the campus to find out about different jobs and careers.

The session will be taking place 11:15 – 12:00 in the Discovery Zone.

There will be groups of students rotating around 4 or 5 scientists.  Your role is to give 4 x 10 minute Q and A sessions about your job, using props or aides to explain what you do.  We recommend that you spend 5 minutes talking and leave 5 minutes for the students to ask questions.    We will give them prompter questions if they are shy!

Please could you let me know if you are interested in being involved.

Thanks for your help.

Best wishes

Fran
