Dear STEM Ambassadors,
We’re writing to tell you about a fantastic public engagement event we have coming up on
Thursday 12th March!
The campus is going to be taking over Downham Market Library and putting on stalls to highlight all the amazing genomics work we do every day!
We are looking for people to come and help facilitate conversations and activities with visitors (primary school aged children through to adults using the library services) between
11am and 5pm.
No previous experience is needed as we will make sure you are trained on any activities and supported throughout the day.
This event will help the campus reach out to audiences who tend to have less opportunities to engage with the campus or genomics and is sure to be a great day!
If you are interested in getting involved with this then please do let us know by
emailing engage@wgc.org.uk.
We can also cover all transport costs for getting to and from this event so please don’t let that stop you!
Thanks and Best Wishes,
The Public Engagement Team
