Hi Everyone

I hope you are well.  We have been sent information about a new initiative for schools.   The Skills Service is about to launch a brand new ‘Inspire Series’ project for schools which focuses on the ‘Future Workforce’ and which aims to empower young people at a time when they are facing some tough challenges.    There is an information meeting on the 7th September 2pm – 3pm, which you might like to attend.  I’ve attached the flyer with the registration link.

Peterborough is one of our areas of focus for outreach as there are relatively high levels of deprivation particularly with children’s attainment and low social mobility.  If you are interesting in taking part in any of Future Workforce events e.g. providing virtual workplace tours, case studies, career options, virtual ‘Meet the Professional’ videos, please do let the Public Engagement team know so we can support you in the planning and development of sessions (and also record the great work you are doing).

If you have any questions please let me know.

Best wishes

Fran
