Dear STEM Ambassadors,
Thank you to everyone who has come forward to help with the activities at Fun Lab this Saturday (6th July) on Parker’s Piece in Cambridge. We’re still looking for another couple of helping hands. The activities are:
1. Looking at human cheek cells, onion cells and different types of bacteria under the microscope with plastic models to help participants understand what they are seeing
2. A card game where participants have to decide what action they would take to protect someone from different infections.
There are two timeslots available for each activity: 12.00 – 2.30 and 2.15 – 5.00.
We can go through the activities with you beforehand so you feel comfortable with what you’ll be doing on the day.
If you’d like to come along and help with these activities, please let us know by emailing
engage@wgc.org.uk
Best wishes,
