Dear STEM Ambassadors,

Please see below for an update about a new STEM Ambassadors mailing list and about how you could get involved Fun Lab in Cambridge on 6th July.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact us on engage@wgc.org.uk

STEM Ambassadors mailing list

We’ve created a new list (stemambassadors@wellcomegenomecampus.org) to make it easier for the public engagement team to let you know about upcoming events and opportunities. Please let us know if you would like to be removed from this list.

Only the public engagement team can send emails to the STEM Ambassadors list. If there are any events or opportunities that you would like to let other STEM Ambassadors know about, please let us know via engage@wgc.org.uk

Fun Lab, Saturday 6th July

We’re once again bringing genomics to Fun Lab in Parker’s Piece, Cambridge on Saturday 6th July, and we are looking for STEM Ambassadors to take part.

The activities being run are:

1)      Looking at different cell types under microscopes, including human, plant and bacteria

2)      A card game where participants have to decide how to protect someone from different infections

There are two timeslots available for each activity, 12.00 - 14.30 and 14.15 - 17.00

If you would like to take part in this event, please get in touch via engage@wgc.org.uk

Best wishes,

Public Engagement team
