Dear STEM Ambassadors,
We need some extra hands to help with this week’s Open Saturday event (17th August). Activities that you can get involved in include leading tours in our interactive Open Lab space, or you can help visitors
to extract DNA from fruit or assemble a genome. We can provide any training or support you need to do the activities. Or if you have your own idea for an activity we’d love for you to bring it along!
Open Saturday is a great opportunity to speak with visitors about the campus and the work you do here. It runs from 1-4 pm and we will cover any travel expenses to get you to campus (e.g. taxi, train, mileage).
We’d really appreciate any help, so if you’ve been thinking that you’d like to get involved in Open Saturday, now is the time! If you’d like to take part, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing
engage@wgc.org.uk
Best wishes,
Public Engagement team
