Best wishes, Elisabetta Elisabetta Mereu is a computational biologist and the leader of the “Cellular Systems Genomics” Group at the “Josep Carreras Leukemia Research” Institute of Barcelona since 2021. Her research focus is to define the spatial-temporal organization of complex tissues in health and diseases, particularly in the study of inflammation as a key driver of any chronic disease. She is an active member of the Human Cell Atlas consortium, where she leads the data analysis for the generation of the first Human Cell Atlas of the Pancreas.
