Invitation to attend the 2022 Human Cell Atlas Virtual General Meeting, June 27 - 29, 2022: Registration live! [EXT]

HCA 2022 General Meeting Austria, Vienna Dear Colleague We are delighted to invite you to register your interest to attend the 2022 Human Cell Atlas Hybrid General Meeting to be held June 27 - 29. Main sessions are scheduled between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm CEST each day. To register your interest to attend the meeting in-person or to register for virtual participation click here. Please note, in-person spaces are limited. We will do our best to accommodate in-person registration requests, but cannot guarantee your place at this time. You will receive confirmation whether your in-person place has been secured within 2 weeks after completing the registration form. Requests for in-person registration will close Thursday, May 12. If you are from a LMIC and need financial assistance in order to attend the meeting, please contact meetings(a)humancellatlas.org on or before Thursday, May 12. The 2022 HCA General Meeting will convene our community to share updates and insights on new HCA research and initiatives. The meeting theme is “Building draft atlases, integrating across communities, and maximizing impact.” The General Meeting will bring together computational and wet-lab biologists as well as data managers and many other groups from around the world, who will connect, plan and map a path towards the first draft of the atlas. We particularly want to welcome new researchers: Building and connecting the atlases, rendering them broadly useful and accessible, and making progress on the HCA’s goals of positively impacting medicine will take a joint effort. Safety is our top priority for this meeting, and we ask that in-person attendees are vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they have an exemption due to a health condition. If you have vaccine access issues, please let HCA staff know. In the coming weeks, HCA staff will ask for proof of vaccination from people who registered to attend the meeting in-person . We will be following European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control guidelines as well as the recommendations of the HCA Organizing Committee.
