Dear STEM Ambassadors
We have commissioned Helix Research and Evaluation to conduct a review of the Campus's
public engagement programme.
As part of this review, we are seeking insight from Campus staff and students who are
actively involved in engaging the public with their research and/or in supporting and
leading public engagement initiatives on and off Campus. We are particularly interested to
explore your experiences as STEM Ambassadors and your thoughts on future priorities.
Margaret and Ruth from Helix will lead a STEM Ambassadors focus group tomorrow (Weds 20
Nov), 11:00-12:00, in Loft Room 2 in the Conference Centre. There will be tea, coffee and
a mid-morning nibble. Are you available and interested to take part?
Your feedback will be synthesised and used to inform the review Helix are undertaking for
the Public Engagement team. Any information you provide will be treated as confidential
and stored securely. If any material is reported which would make you or your
work/research identifiable, Helix will seek your consent before sharing this material with
the Public Engagement team or more widely.
If you would like to participate, please reply to

Thank you for your help.
Best wishes
