Thursday 11 August 2022 Dear , We are delighted to invite you to attend the 2022 Human Cell Atlas Development and Pediatric Cell Atlas Meeting, to be held November, 20 - 22, in Sorbonne University International Conference Center (CICSU), Paris, France. This hybrid meeting, with in-person and virtual attendance, will have sessions between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm CET each day. The HCA Developmental and Pediatric Cell Atlas 2022 Meeting will convene our community to share updates and insights on implementing the proposed strategies outlined in the Developmental roadmap. We hope to bring together diverse communities of scientists, computational biologists, clinicians, and ethicists who are interested in forging new collaborations to support this effort. Our ultimate goal is to benefit and improve health, cell and tissue engineering strategies and clinical therapy. We strongly encourage trainees (graduate students, postdoctoral researches) and researchers from LMICs to attend this meeting. If you are from a LMIC and need financial assistance in order to attend the meeting, please indicate this need in your registration application. To register for the meeting click here. Note, we encourage you to register as soon as possible. Registration closes Friday, October 21; however, in-person spaces are limited, so registrations are first-come, first-served. Safety is our top priority for this meeting and we ask that in-person attendees are vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they have an exemption due to a health condition. If you have vaccine access issues, please let HCA staff know. In the coming weeks, HCA staff will follow up with people who registered for in-person meeting attendance for proof of vaccination. The DCP team are helping to standardize cell-by-gene matrices so they are accessible by external portals like cellxgene, in order to enable data sharing from live donors. Dear , We are pleased to announce that the next Human Cell Atlas Asia Meeting will be held on November 3 - 4, 2022 in Bangkok, Thailand. We hope that this will be a hybrid meeting with both in-person and virtual attendance, but the format will ultimately depend on the COVID-19 pandemic situation at the time, and we will keep you posted. Registration will open this summer. In the meantime, please save the date! The HCA Asia 2022 Meeting aims to bring researchers together to share updates and insights, to broaden representation of communities across the Asia-Pacific region, and to enhance scientific impact in the region and across the globe. We hope to meet in-person in order to promote networking opportunities and encourage collaboration between attendees from diverse backgrounds. However, please note that our on-site capacity will be limited. To maximize audience participation and accessibility, all main sessions will be live-streamed on a dedicated event platform. Sessions will also be made available for on-demand viewing on the event platform, for those not able to attend in real-time. Safety is our top priority for this meeting.
