Hello Neil,
I did the bird count yesterday. It was pretty quiet, but good to see a lot of
greenfinches, and a few chaffinches.
No little grebes, or green woodpeckers, although they are definitely around. A lot of
blackcaps and chiffchaffs.
Map attached.
Thanks,
Sabine

Subject: Wetlands Common Bird survey 2024 [EXT]
Hi Sabine,
Can I ask a favour? I missed the last Wetlands committee meeting and so didn't
present the results of the 2023 Wetlands Common Bird Census or announce the survey for
2024. Usually, there is a survey for either the last week in March or the first week of
April. I'm away in Malaysia from Thursday until Friday 5th April, so I can't do
the first survey for the year. Would you be able to do it? Then I can set up a rota for
the rest of the season.
