Hi all, Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the lighting test on Tuesday showed that unfortunately the emergency lighting is still not working in these rooms, and Sotham’s have had to order a new part which will be fitted in the new year. If anyone needs to access the rooms over the Christmas break, please feel free to take a torch into the rooms for peace of mind and feel free to use the “break glass” emergency exit button if there’s any issues with the door. Furthermore, the lighting timing issues are being discussed and Jon is looking into getting some sensor-activated lighting installed in the corridors in the new year.
