Ah thank you Max for the kind support!
Actually as part of the HCA lung biological network, we and the authors of that paper had
shared each other’s manuscript before submission. Admittedly I haven’t read their
manuscript closely with respect to which datasets they actually used. My impression was
that they generated quite a big chunk of their own data and used perhaps only one or two
lung datasets. We will keep you updated once their extra datasets are added.
Best,
Ni

My main idea was to highlight that your datasets are also used in another paper, to
demonstrate the impact of your website.
And yes, at some point, maybe also adding the datasets from that other paper but that will
take longer.

Hi Max,
Sorry but I am getting confused. What were you proposing in the first place? Adding
datasets from that paper to our portal, or adding that paper in the list of publication,
or something else?
Best,
Ni

Hi Ni,
great, thanks! Don't hesitate to let us know. Is there an email list with updates that
we can subscribe to?

Hi Max,
We are aware of this paper. There could be overlapping of datasets, but I can’t be sure
until its supplementary tables (particularly table S9) become available online.
Best,
Ni

Hi Max,
Could you please send this question to
cv19caingest@sanger.ac.uk<mailto:cv19caingest@sanger.ac.uk> ? There is a data
scientist there who will be able to answer your questions.
Cheers,
Vlad

Hi Vlad,
is this paper in some way related to your datasets?
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0092867420305006
[
sciencedirect.com]<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__…
Is there some overlap in the datasets that you use?
If yes, could highlight that on your webpage...
best
